Chapter 37

Soon afterwards, Dr. Song came out of the examination room and said to Jiang Hengshu,

“It’s not a big problem but the blood sugar is bit low, just let him take some glucose. Rest for a few days should be enough.”

Jiang Hengshu gave a hum with some indifference, Dr. Song took off his gloves and continued.

“But his heart is not very good, I need to do a full-body examination later.”

“I want to go home.”

Jiang Hengshu leaned and embrace Fu Zhen from the bed, Fu Zhen was taken aback he quickly grabbed Jiang Hengshu’s shoulders with both hands, although he liked Jiang Hengshu very much he was still a little bit shy. Fu Zhen’ head was almost buried in his chest, he said to Jiang Hengshu,

“I can walk by myself.”

Jiang Hengshu ignored his words, it was already very late now, if he let Fu Zhen walked by himself the sky outside would probably already bright.

After arriving outside the clinic, Fu Zhen noticed that Wang Tong had not followed,

“He is staying in the clinic”

That night Jiang Hengshu returned to the rental house and notice that Fu Zhen was not in the room, he didn’t care at first but when Fu Zhen didn’t show up on the construction site the next day, he asked the foreman and was told that he couldn’t contact Fu Zhen. Jiang Hengshu then realized something might had happened to Fu Zhen.

On that same day he called Wang Tong to check the surveillance and found a suspicious mini-van. The Liu brothers used their brains when they kidnapped Fu Zhen, the mini-van could not be seen in many places.

Jiang Henghsu and Wang Tong could only investigate a little and finally found the tin room deep in the forest in the woods yesterday evening.

Jiang Hengshu stood up and said,

“I should go back.”

Fu Zhen grabbed the hem of Jiang Hengshu’s trench coat with his fingers.

Jiang Hengshu lowered his head and looked at Fu Zhen’s hand, the bruised on his hand cause by the rope seemed to be more obvious than before, he asked him.

“Anything else?”

“Can you stay with me for a while?”

Fu Zhen asked in a small voice.

Jiang Hengshu moved his lips, Fu Zhen thought he was going to reject him and unconsciously let go of the fingers holding Jiang Hengshu’s clothes but he didn’t say anything and silently sat back by his bed and speck softly to Fu Zhen,

“Go to sleep.”
